Homelessness and extreme poverty are among the most hopeless situations a person can find themselves in. Loneliness, isolation, lack of information—these are just a few of the many challenges to overcome. The *Menhely Alapítvány* works every day to provide real answers to these problems.

Founded after the political transition as the first secular organization to address homelessness in a comprehensive way, the *Menhely Alapítvány* continues this mission today. Our services are still uniquely diverse: we provide housing programs, legal and debt-management counseling, and employment support for our clients, and as the publishers of the *Fedél Nélkül* street newspaper, we offer people experiencing homelessness the opportunity to gain visibility, recognition, and income.
